STREAM Team Program

Our STREAM Teams are designed approach agricultural education from the perspectives of Science, Technology, Reading/Research, Engineering, Arts, and Math. Our overall goal is to inspire, educate, and cultivate a shared passion for growing food, flowers, and herbs. We teach people how to grow food at home and we support the initiation of this process through our in-school and afterschool programs, including the STREAM Team Program.

We can assist you in setting up a STREAM Team as part of an urban agriculture program at your school.

Our engaging curriculum covers specialized gardening techniques, teaching children how to grow and care for plants using sustainable practices. Additionally, students explore essential topics such as garden ecosystem, soil nutrients, water sourcing and conservation, and the technology of hydroponic plant growing. The program includes both weather-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring an engaging and educational experience no matter the weather. Through hands-on activities and specialized workshops, the Stream Program aims to inspire a love for nature and a commitment to protecting the environment.

During the Garden Club Program, experts are invited to lead hands-on workshops on fascinating topics such as beekeeping, butterflies and vermiculture. Students learn about the crucial role of bees in our ecosystem and discover the benefits of composting with worms. These interactive sessions, led by experienced professionals, provide valuable insights and practical skills in sustainable practices.
