STREAM Team Program
STREAM Team Program

Our STREAM Teams bring agricultural education to life by connecting Science, Technology, Reading and Research, Engineering, Arts, and Math through hands-on learning. The goal is simple: to inspire curiosity, build knowledge, and help students develop a real connection to growing their own food, flowers, and herbs. Through our in-school and afterschool programs, we teach students how to grow at home and support them every step of the way.
We work with schools to build STREAM Teams as part of an urban agriculture program. Our curriculum introduces students to practical gardening skills and sustainable growing methods in a way that feels engaging and accessible. Students learn about garden ecosystems, soil health, water use and conservation, and even explore hydroponic growing. Activities take place both indoors and outdoors, so learning continues year-round no matter the weather.

As part of the program, students also participate in hands-on workshops led by guest experts. These sessions cover topics like beekeeping, butterflies, and vermiculture, helping students understand the role of pollinators and the value of composting. Each workshop gives students the chance to learn directly from experienced growers while building real-world skills they can use beyond the classroom.
